Rafting in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park
Transportation to Alaska’s Remote Rivers
In a National Park that is six (yes, six!) times the size of Yellowstone, very little of the landscape is accessible by foot. One of the best, and most exciting ways to experience Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is to float it via the braided rivers. In this way, guests become one with the very veins of this fabulous wilderness.
Wrangell Mountain Air provides transportation only; any backcountry descriptions are intended to help visitors choose which routes are most appealing. We recommend visitors hire a local guide service to ensure the best experience possible. Click here for links to great local guiding services. Additionally, the National Park Service can be an excellent resource for folks planning their backcountry adventure and may be emailed directly.
